Fall in LOVE with your IDIOT

Fall in LOVE with your IDIOT

with Gramya

5Rhythms is a dance practice that moves through five distinct rhythms - each one touching the body, the heart, and the energy that moves us. Dancing them again and again, always to different music, we explore uncharted parts of ourselves, discovering something new each time: about ourselves, our patterns, and our freedom.

Flowing brings us down into the ground. We listen with our feet, settle into our weight, and remember where we belong.

Staccato sharpens us. It gives shape to our impulses, voice to our desires, and courage to express what we stand for.

In Chaos, everything loosens. Control dissolves. We enter not-knowing and practice staying present in the middle of intensity.Out of that release, Lyrical rises—light, expansive, playful—opening us to joy, connection, and possibility.

Stillness holds it all. In the wide, quiet space, movement becomes medicine, and healing happens without effort.

In this workshop, we will take a close look at our shadow.

We will meet our inner IDIOT.

We all seek joy. Over time, this search can turn into a habit—sometimes even an addiction—of doing only what feels good. We avoid taking part in any thing that might triger unease, and for sure we do all we can to make no mistakes, dodge failure, and pretend we are not clumsy, incompetent, or lost.

In doing so, we avoid meeting our inner IDIOT. And everyone has one.

We often blame this part of ourselves for anything unwanted or shameful in our lives. We wish it would disappear. We fear its influence and the shame it carries. So we hide it—through control, perfectionism, humor, intelligence, spirituality, or success. We spend enormous amounts of energy suppressing it, masking it, or trying to stay one step ahead of it.

We are afraid it might suddenly reappear and expose us.

And this is how most of us learn to walk through the world.

What if we have it backwards?

I want to suggest that this IDIOT—of all our inner parts—is holding our joy captive.

This awkward, foolish, unpolished part of us is not broken. At its core, it is the silly, innocent, naïve, pure-hearted part of who we are. It is the part that doesn’t know how to perform, impress, or protect itself.

And precisely because of that, it is our most direct connection to joy, beauty, simplicity, and aliveness.

The workshop is not physically difficult, but if you are not ready to sweat, it’s probably going to be a bit pushy for you.

We will dance for 3.5 days, 19-22 Sep 2026

Day 1- day 3 :2 sessions each day: 0930 – 1330 and 1530 – 1830.

Day 4 : 1 long session on the last day from 10-13:30

Most sessions will have a small break.

This workshop has space for max 18 participants.

“I have been teaching 5rhythms for 8 years now. I have led about 15 workshops and few hundredclasses in few different countries. The idea for this workshop came to me while I was doing my 5rhythms teacher training, 9 years ago, and I finally feel ready to teach it. “

About Gramya

About 15 years ago, I met Osho`s work and 5rhythms dance, both by chance and around the same time.

Practicing both paths for a while, embodied in me the understanding that there are other ways to be.

At 46 years old, I left the concept of “Success” behind and traveled extensively, figuring out what and who I am above and beyond the limiting believes of being accepted.

Finally settling in a small community in nature, on Lesvos Island where I dance, teach and tend my garden.

For me 5rhythms dance meditation is the art of unveiling the self. All the way from unconscious to consciousness, to remember and embody that we have, only love, in our core.

This is why I dance, this is why I teach.
