Osho Afroz is a meditation center in the island of Lesvos, Greece. A place to live and share the summer with fellow travellers from all over the world. There are many different ways of being part of the commune. You can visit us as a guest participating in our daily meditation program, join our workshops and trainings. You may also participate in the LIME - Living in Meditation Experience.

During my stay I have been involved in maintenance and in general whatever was needed, I jumped in. I really enjoyed everything that I did here. I had the feeling of being a valuable part. No matter how big or small it was that I was doing - I enjoyed doing it. It gave me such a great feeling of joy inside, some deep feeling of peace and happiness. When I was painting I could feel a sense of great peace. It becomes a thing that the body does and you just witness that - the peace in action.

The gift I take home is the people and the connection. Connecting with people while you are working is much deeper than just meeting during lunch fo example. You are sharing this space while you are both working in the bathroom, how you are feeling, who you are in that moment and it gets deeper every day.. Mhmm.. For me, it is really is the connection with people. […] I just want to be happy with who I am and that it is good enough for me. I think I learned that here.
