Garimo was born and educated in the Netherlands and the UK, and started her work in the field of humanistic psychology at Quaesitor Human Growth Center in London. She was a founder director of the Netherlands Gestalt Institute and of Center, the first human growth institute in the Netherlands.
Out of this work with psychology and self-development she then discovered Osho and meditation as the next logical step. Since then she hasn’t looked back – spending many, many years in visiting and contributing at the OSHO International Meditation Resort in Pune, India.
Besides applying the OSHO approach to living, meditating, working and growing in her own life, Garimo has been closely involved with the development of one of the largest institutes in the world for personal growth, the Osho Multiversity in Pune. Her special loves these days are the subjects of OSHO meditation and meditation in general; life skills; work-life balancing; inner male-female balancing; and body-mind balancing. Garimo has developed trainings in the field of work-as-meditation (Inner Skills for Work & Life) which are an integral part of the Meditation Resort’s well-known 3-month Creative Living residential program. She has conducted OSHO Meditation intensives and Awareness Intensives, offers meditation counseling, and teaches OSHO Meditation trainings.
